We’re trying to show Coastal-esque films at our first summer of Outdoor Movies. Based on the fact that Goonies was filmed on the Oregon Coast (near some great PNW surf spots) and the kids are in search of the treasure of One-Eyed-Willy the pirate (see Pirate’s landing post for the same day, below), we had to show this movie on Saturday! This year also happens to mark Goonie’s 25th Anniversary. How Sean Astin has grown!
As always, bring your own chair, blanket, mat, snacks, drinks, etc, and enjoy watching a movie outside with us! It really feels nothing like being in Seattle and everything like being on vacation. Free Hansen’s soda and Coastal swag for all attendees!
